Veterinary nurses have their say with elections

Voting is now open for members of the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) to elect two representatives for their profession.

With five candidates up for nomination to sit on the BVNA Council, but only two places available, every vote counts.

The candidates are Harry Bailey, Susan Howarth, Matthew Rendle, Jennifer Savage and Megan Whitehead.

BVNA President Louisa Baker said: "I am delighted with the number of nominations received from members, as the BVNA represents the veterinary nursing profession and it is important that members have a say on who is representing them."

Voting forms were circulated in the June issue of Veterinary Nursing Journal (VNJ), which can be returned to the BVNA by post, fax or email.

Voting closes on June 30 and results will be announced in September's VNJ.
