Nominations for veterinary awards closing soon
2013 Petplan Veterinary Awards close on January 31st

 Often referred to as the 'Vet Oscars', this annual awards ceremony recognises members of the profession who continually go above and beyond in caring for animals.

The event is now in its 14th year, with a glittering awards ceremony being held in Birmingham on 4th April. Awards categories include: Practice of the Year, Vet of the Year, Vet Nurse of the Year, Practice Manager of the Year, and Support Staff of the Year.

Simon Masding, Petplan's head of Sales and Partnerships said:

"Petplan knows that the veterinary profession is full of brilliant vets, nurses, practice managers and support staff.

"The Petplan Veterinary Awards are a wonderful opportunity to put standout stars forward for recognition, and demonstrate to your clients and industry that your staff are spectacular.

"As well as the feel-good factor, there's a commercial benefit to being nominated too, one previous winner saw a 30% growth in their business as a result of winning, so if you would like to be in with a chance of winning you have just one month left to encourage your clients and staff to nominate."

Petplan has worked with the veterinary profession for over 35 years, and hosts these industry awards to recognise the dedication and hard work of the veterinary community.

Nominations will be judged by a panel of people from the veterinary industry, including previous winners and presidents of veterinary and nursing associations. Nominations can be made through Petplan's website, closing on the 31st January.
