RCVS preparing for Question Time meeting
Veterinary professionals raise their questions

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is readying itself for its Question Time meeting, allowing veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and others associated with the veterinary profession to raise any questions they may have.

Members of the Veterinary Nurses Council and the RCVS Officer team will be attending to answer questions, and to resolve any issues affecting veterinary surgeons and VNs.

The discussion will be led by VNs and local vets, with potential topics including veterinary legislation, regulation of veterinary nurses, the RCVS First-Rate Regulator initiative and the Codes of Professional Conduct for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses.

The meeting is set to take place on Wednesday, February 13, in Oxford, beginning at 7.15pm with an estimated finish time of 10pm.

Earlier that day, the RCVS will also run free Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) appointments with a PSS Inspector. These are a useful resource to any practices thinking of joining the voluntary scheme, or for those due to be reinspected.

Veterinary surgeons or veterinary nurses may also be interested if they wish to ensure that they meet the new Code of Professional Conduct requirement relating to Core Standards.

To book a place at the RCVS Question Time or book a PPS appointment, veterinary practices can contact Fiona Harcourt, Communications Officer, via
email.
