Nominations are now open for the 2013 Petplan Veterinary Awards!

The annual awards celebrate outstanding veterinary professionals and teams who go above and beyond the call of duty in the following categories:

• Vet of the Year
• VN of the Year
• Practice of the Year
• Support Staff of the Year
• Practice Manager of the Year

Zaila Dunbar, winner of Vet of the Year 2012, commented on the effect the award has had on her life in practice: "Winning Petplan Vet of the Year has certainly created a lot of positive feeling among our established clients as well as new ones.

"We have attracted new customers as a direct result and almost every day since the win someone has referred to it either because they had heard through word of mouth or because they've seen the certificate in the waiting room."

Petplan's head of sales and partnership Simon Masding said: "We hear from our customers every day about the exceptional service veterinary staff have given to pets in their fair and we are thrilled to be able to thank such hard-working individuals on a national scale."
