Search is on for Britain's most talented dog
New competition gives dogs a chance to shine

The Kennel Club (KC) has launched a brand new competition with the help of Britain's Got Talent winners, Ashleigh and Pudsey, to find Britain's most talented dog.

The Crufts Factor competition is asking people to post videos of their dogs performing tricks on Facebook, and to 'like' their favourite dog talent. Those dogs with the most 'likes' will be entered into a one-off heat at Discover Dogs at Earls Court, London, on November 10.

Ashleigh Butler and her dog Pudsey are members of the Young Kennel Club and are together appealing to all dog owners to give their talented pets a chance to shine in the competition.

Heat finalists will have the chance to perform at Crufts in March 2013.

Ashleigh said: "Dogs have an amazing ability to learn all sorts of skills, so it is really exciting to see the launch of a competition that is solely dedicated to celebrating dogs and their talents.

“Pudsey has always adored performing and working with me as a team and it was great to give him the chance to show his skills to the nation. Crufts Factor gives all dogs the same opportunity.
