Dressed up to the ca-nines
Top fashion designers for Battersea's finest

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is hosting its fourth annual Collars & Coats Gala Ball on Thursday 8th November.

At the event, residential dogs will be taking the catwalk - make that dogwalk - wearing dog coats and accessories designed by some of the biggest names in fashion, all in the name of charity.

Designers include Giles Deacon, Stella McCartney, Mulberry, Jenny Packham and Vivienne Westwood.

Hosts Paul O'Grady MBE and Amanda Holden will be accompanied by international supermodel, David Gandy (pictured), who will lead the canine catwalk, and leading fashion journalist Hilary Alexander will present the designs alongside Battersea's first ambassador.

The fashionable dog coats and accessories will be auctioned off to raise money for Battersea.

Chief Executive of Battersea, Claire Horton, said: "We can't wait to see [our] dogs groomed and dressed in canine couture by the most influential and iconic designers from the world. It's incredible to be working with such world-class talent and we're immensely grateful to everyone who is supporting our dogs and our cats through this collaboration."
