Nominate your Vet Nurse of the Year!
Blue Cross urging nominations for the VN award

Nominations are being called for the Veterinary Nurse of the Year 2012 award, which will be presented at the BVNA annual Congress in Telford in October.

The award aims to recognise the dedication of veterinary nurses who care for sick and injured animals, educate the public about responsible pet owernship and improve the welfare of pets in their community.

The Blue Cross, a charity which helps abandoned, ill and injured pets, is urging everyone to nominate a candidate whom they consider deserves the award.

Last year's winner was Terri-Ann Corbett who said of winning the award: "Not only is it touching but such a great privilege, it really is a once in a lifetime achievement."

The deadline for nominations is 17 August. To nominate a veterinary nurse, click here.
