RCVS welcomes 39 new Fellows
“I am really pleased to see the RCVS Fellowship once again welcoming such a broad and diverse range of veterinary skills and excellence to its ranks" - Dr Niall Connell.

They will be formally welcomed at Fellowship Day.

Thirty-nine veterinary surgeons have been welcomed to the RCVS Fellowship in recognition of their outstanding contributions to veterinary science and practice.

Of these, 18 were recognised for meritorious contributions to clinical practice, 19 to the profession, and two to veterinary knowledge.

Dr Niall Connell FRCVS, chair of the RCVS Fellowship Board, said: “I am really pleased to see the RCVS Fellowship once again welcoming such a broad and diverse range of veterinary skills and excellence to its ranks.

“We have 39 new Fellows this year, all strongly demonstrating an impressive and ongoing commitment to the advancement of the veterinary profession and the contribution that it makes to animal health and welfare, public health and society as a whole.

“I look forward to meeting our brand new Fellows later this year, and discovering more about their work on Fellowship Day, which promises to be another terrific event for celebration and scientific debate.”

The RCVS Fellowship is a body that advances veterinary standards by providing a resource of independent knowledge for the benefit of the profession.

The new Fellows will be formally welcomed at Fellowship Day, which takes place on Thursday, 26 November 2026 at One Great George Street, Westminster.
