"The stories shared by practices highlight just how important reception teams are to the veterinary profession" - Linda Buckle.
The awards celebrate individual receptionists and full reception teams.
Nominations for the 2026 Veterinary Receptionist Team Hero Awards, organised by KRKA UK, are now open.
Now in its third year, the awards celebrate the vital role veterinary receptionists play in practices across the UK, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of individual receptionists and full reception teams.
Previous winners have included Folly Vets in Pontypool, Galedin Vets, Heidi Bodily from Mounts Bay Vets in Penzance, and Liberty Honeywell of Poplar Vets, London.
Linda Buckle, brand manager at KRKA UK, said: “Over the past two years, we've been overwhelmed by both the quality and quantity of nominations received. The stories shared by practices highlight just how important reception teams are to the veterinary profession.
“Today's reception teams are balancing client care, administrative responsibilities and the emotional demands that come with supporting pet owners through some of their most challenging moments. These awards are our way of recognising and celebrating the incredible difference they make every day.”
Nominations close on Friday, 4 September. Winners will receive trophies and Amazon vouchers, and runners-up will also be recognised.
