BSAVA creates diagnostic imaging leaflets for client use
"Every practice needs to give consistent practical advice to clients booking their pets in for a procedure" - Julien Hoad, Chair of the Publications Committee.
The new leaflets are the latest addition to BSAVA's series of client information leaflets.

The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) has expanded its client information leaflet library with four new leaflets of diagnostic imaging.

Created to help pet owners understand what is involved in examination, the new leaflets cover radiography, ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. 

Available in PDF format, the resources are part of a new series of leaflets which focus on veterinary procedures, designed to help owners understand the procedure, with information on preparation required, associated risks, what happens during the procedure and what will happen after. 

The entire range of client information leaflets is available for an annual subscription of £40, and is free for BSAVA members. The leaflets can be accessed via the BSAVA Library. 

As a constantly developing resource, the procedural client information leaflets will continue to expand, with the next series focusing on endoscopic procedures. Suggestions for procedures for which a client information leaflet may be useful are welcomes by the BSAVA, and any suggestions should be sent to publications@bsava.com
