Veterinary surgeons, retailers and wholesale dealers are asked to examine inventory.
Visual inspection confirmed possibility of particulate contamination.

Ceva Animal Health has recalled Ketofen 10% Solution for Injection.

The Class II recall was initiated after a visual inspection confirmed a possibility of particulate contamination, which is unacceptable for an intravenous use preparation.

Only the following batches have been recalled:
    •   108AB Expiry 12/02/2023
    •   113H Expiry 16/03/2023

Veterinary surgeons, retailers and wholesale dealers are being contacted and told to examine inventory immediately, and then quarantine any products subject to recall.

Ketofen 10% Solution for Injection is used to treat cattle, horses and other equidae, and pigs, and is a non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic and anti-pyretic properties.

Anyone with further questions on the recall is advised to contact Peter Kyte on +44 1494 781510
