Royal College Day take place on Friday, 9 July

Vets and veterinary nurses are being invited to attend the 2021 Royal College Day - the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the RCVS.

The virtual event takes place on Friday 9 July at 10 am, with members of the professions being able to watch the proceedings live online.

RCVS president Mandisa Greene will formally welcome the newly-elected RCVS and VN Council members, as well as bid farewell to retiring members of both Councils.

Following this, Kate Richards will be formally approved as president for 2021-22, Melissa Donald as junior vice president, Mandisa Greene as senior vice president and Niall Connell as treasurer.

The event will also see the formal adoption by RCVS Council of the Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2020, which will be published ahead of the AGM.

Vets and vet nurses are being invited to submit any questions about this report to Deborah Rowlanes at d.rowlanes@rcvs.org.uk by Friday, 2 July 2021.

Royal College Day will close with an address from Kate Richards as the newly invested RCVS President. The RCVS Awards Ceremony is scheduled to take place later in the year.

Those wishing to attend the AGM can register on the RCVS website.
