Defect found in single batch
The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has announced that, on 4 March 2020, Dechra Ltd issued a product recall for a single batch of the product Prednidale 5mg tablets (Vm 10434/4009).
According to a statement, the recall is a result of microbial contamination of the product, and is for the following batch only:

Dechra Veterinary products has stated that it is in the process of contacting wholesale dealers and veterinary surgeons to assess their inventory as soon as possible and quarantine products subject to this recall.
