Eye drops recalled owing to out of specification result
The VMD has issued a product recall alert for Isathan 10mg/g eye drops suspension for dogs, cats and rabbits.

Manufacturer contacting veterinary surgeons and wholesalers 

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has issued a product recall alert for Isathan 10mg/g eye drops suspension for dogs, cats and rabbits, manufactured by Dechra Veterinary Products.


The VDM said the recall has been issued owing to an “out of specification result for particle size being found in routine stability testing”. 


The recall affects the following batch only:

A72346
Isathal 10 mg/g eye drops, suspension for dogs, cats and rabbits
Expires: March 2021

 
Dechra Veterinary Products is contacting veterinary surgeons and wholesale dealers to examine inventory immediately and quarantine products subject to this recall.
