Particulates were found in some batches of Alfaxan and Alfaxan Multidose 10mg/ml Solution for Injection.
Specific batches of Alfaxan and Alfaxan Multidose affected
The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is making vets and wholesalers aware that certain batches of Alfaxan and Alfaxan Multidose 10mg/ml Solution for Injection has been recalled.
Jurox UK issued a recall of specific batches after particulates were found during routine stability testing.
The manufacturer is contacting wholesalers and vets to urge them to examine their inventory immediately and quarantine any recalled products.
