New Council members to be formally ratified during annual AGM
Details of the BVNA Council nominees for 2015-2016 have been announced.
Full Council member nominees are Annere Creighton RVN, Erika Feilberg RVN, Sam McMillan VTS (Anaesthesia) DipAVN(Med) DipHE RVN and Nimisha Patel RVN.
This year there are also two student member seats on BVNA Council. Nominees for these are Evangeline Morrison and Danielle Peacock.
The BVNA Council consists of a maximum of 12 members from across the UK who work hard to fit in in BVNA business around family and work life on a voluntary basis.
All Council members are elected veterinary nurses who have a common desire to represent the veterinary nuring profession. As well as meeting every six to eight weeks at the BVNA office in Harlow, Council members also undertake individual roles, chosen by themselves and building on their own personal strengths and experience.
The new Council members will be formally ratified onto BVNA Council at the BVNA's AGM on Sunday 11 October at Telford International Centre, Shropshire. You can read more about the candidates and see their manifestos on the BVNA website.
