Vision Media announces the launch of VetCommunity

A new online platform that allows veterinary professionals to discuss current events and share knowledge and expertise has launched today. VetCommunity is the latest offering from Vision Media - the team behind MRCVSonline and VNonline.

VetCommunity, which is free to join, is at the forefront of a new era of professional veterinary communication. It offers subscribers bespoke browsing to maximise their time online, a chatter facility to discuss and share information, and in-depth clinical and management articles covering all major veterinary disciplines.

In addition, same-day news and articles from the editorial team at MRCVSonline and VNonline are automatically added to VetCommunity in real-time.

Subscribers can create their own VetCommunity profile by choosing a primary area of interest, followed by any number of secondary subjects from the topics provided. While subscribers have access to all areas of the site, content can be tailored to suit their level of interest in particular subjects.

As well as creating an "interests" profile, subscribers can include their own biographical details on their profile page and browse content by author, article and veterinary field.

To stimulate debate and the sharing of expertise, a chatter facility allows every member to post his or her own views on an article or news item using a simple "add your views" button.

With an ever-increasing number of articles and news stories published, VetCommunity offers members an excellent resource for personal and professional development.

VetCommunity welcomes contributors and bloggers to join the editorial team and share expertise in a range of areas - covering all aspects of large and small animal, equine, exotic, wildlife and veterinary management.

Don't miss out - VetCommunity is for everyone in the practising arm of the profession, including veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, receptionists and practice managers.
