Congress to offer packed scientific and social programme

BSAVA Congress will celebrate its 25th anniversary in Birmingham next April (9-12) with a huge range of clinically and practically relevant lectures for the entire practice team.

The anniversary year in Birmingham coincides with an impressive revamp of the exhibition with the NIA exhibition venue, which was recently re-named the Barclaycard Arena following a £26million facelift.

There will be over 300 lectures to choose from, offering choices for delegates at all stages of their career.   A new range of streams include rehabilitation (in conjunction with the British Veterinary Rehabilitation an Sports Medicine Association), emergency medicine, and interactive multidiscipline case-based presentations.

There will also be an extensive exhibition showcasing the latest industry advances and a vibrant social programme, all tailored to the small animal profession.

Introducing the congress programme, Nick Bexfield, chair of the Congress Programme Committee, said:  "The Congress Programme Committee, consisting of BSAVA volunteers, has worked tirelessly over the past two years to put together a world class programme of veterinary, nursing and management lectures for Congress 2015."

In my 18th year attending Congress, if I could offer you any advice to improve your Congress experience, it would be to try something different – be it a small group session or practical, or maybe a couple of clinical abstracts or some of the posters."

Registration for the event opens on 21 October.  For more information visit www.bsava.com
