VNs: don't forget your fees!
Avoid being removed from the List/Register for 2014

IF YOU wish to stay on the List/Register of veterinary nurses don't forget to pay your fees warns the royal college.

The deadline for paying the annual fees to the RCVS is December 31 latest – if you do not your name will be removed from the List/Register.

Some 7,180 veterinary nurses paid their fees by the annual deadline date of 1 November 2013. Another 2,161 have made payments since then and the remaining 1,468 veterinary nurses who have still not paid their fees have been sent a letter reminding them that their fees need to be paid – and cleared – by the end of the year.

The renewal fee may be paid online via www.rcvs.org.uk/login, using the individual login numbers on the fee renewal letters sent in September and the overdue payment letters sent in December.

Veterinary nurses who have mislaid their login numbers may email webadmin@rcvs.org.uk with their full name, date of birth, address on the register or list and the badge number engraved on the back of their VN badge. Payment may also be made by bank transfer, with the details contained in the letter.

For payments by cheque, the name of the veterinary nurse and his or her list/register number needs to be written on the back. Cheques need to be received by the RCVS before Friday December 20 and the payment must have cleared by December 31.
