BVNA announces funds raised for The Horse Trust
The Horse Trust at BVNA Congress 2013
Association proud to help chosen charity 

The British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) have delightedly announced that they raised a grand total of £2506.51 for their chosen charity, The Horse Trust.

BVNA proudly elected The Horse Trust as its chosen charity of the year for 2012-2013. During the past 12 months, BVNA council members and regional co-ordinators have held numerous fundraising events in aid of the charity.

The world’s first horse charity, The Horse Trust is dedicated to helping improve the lives of horses, ponies and donkeys all over the country, more specifically working horses from the military, police and other organisations.

Some of the proceeds were raised during the BVNA Congress fundraising events. Extra money was raised by veterinary nurses and practices from around the country that organised events during VN Month 2013, and these funds have been sent directly on to The Horse Trust.

Senior vice-president of the BVNA, Louisa Baker, said: “BVNA are very grateful for the fantastic support that we have received in support of The Horse Trust and we would like to thank everyone for their contribution in helping such a worthy charity.”
