College enrols vet nursing students

Applications open for academic year 2013/14

Veterinary nursing courses at the Central College of Animal Studies are now open to applicants for the academic year 2013/14.

The college, which specialises in veterinary and animal care studies, provides a range of full and part-time work-based learning programmes.

Courses offered include the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, specialising in either small animal (DipVN) or equine nursing (DipEVN), as well as the Level 2 Veterinary Nursing Assistant (VNA) qualification and Level 2 Diploma in Animal Nursing.

The VNA is a pre-veterinary nursing qualification offering progression on to further qualifications, such as the DipAN or DipVN. Similarly, students who achieve the Diploma in Animal Nursing can progress on to the DipVN (small animal or equine).

Central College offers courses in modern training practices located in west Suffolk and south Kent, and programmes comprise a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on practical experience.
