Registered Veterinary Nurse — Maidstone, Kent


Pennard Vets is looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in Maidstone.

As an independent, employee-owned and award-winning practice, we put our RVNs at the centre of patient care. We actively support our nurses to use their full range of skills, including Schedule 3 procedures, to provide hands-on patient care and client education. We value open discussions and contributions to improve patient welfare.

We welcome registered veterinary nurses of all skill levels and experience, with mentors available to support your career growth. The rota includes a share of Saturday morning shifts.

We offer a competitive salary, from £27,000, depending on experience.

    Blog SpotThe latest Equine Disease Surveillance report has been released, with details on equine disease from Q4 of 2025.

    The report, produced by Equine Infectious Disease Surveillance, includes advice on rule changes for equine influenza vaccination.

    Statistics and maps detail recent outbreaks of equine herpes virus, equine influenza, equine strangles and equine grass sickness. A series of laboratory reports provides data on virology, bacteriology, parasitology and toxicosis.

    This issue also features a case study of orthoflavivus-associated neurological disease in a horse in the UK.
