Registered Veterinary Nurse — North West London

All Pets is seeking a qualified RVN to join our family-run, two-clinic practice in North West London. You would be based at our Sidmouth Parade clinic.

Our clinics are well-equipped and provide the majority of surgical procedures in-house. We also have a visiting orthopaedic surgeon who manages more complicated surgeries.

As a member of our team, you will be monitoring anaesthesia, autoclaving instruments, assisting in consultations, and supporting in-house blood tests, X-rays and ultrasounds. You may also be required to perform front-of-house duties including payments and counter sales.

Salary is commensurate with experience and new graduates will be able to work with our experienced RVN. We would also consider part-time working.

For more information or to apply for this position please email Jo at allpets1@btconnect.com. All applications are welcomed.

  • Free CPD announced for BVNA members
Blog SpotZoetis is to present a CPD event for free to members of the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA).

Led by veterinary consultant Ruth Moxon, the one-hour online session is designed to help veterinary nurses discuss parasiticide options with clients. It will advise on structuring recommendations, factors for product choice and moving away from 'selling'.

'How do you recommend parasite treatments to your clients?' will be presented on Tuesday, 20 May at 7.30pm. It is free for BVNA members, with £15.00 tickets for non-members.

Veterinary nurses can email cpd@bvna.co.uk to book their place.
