Registered Veterinary Nurse – Leominster, Herefordshire

We are looking for an additional RVN to join us at our independent Specialist Ophthalmology Referral Practice. Our seven veterinary ophthalmologists and three residents are supported by a clinical team consisting of a specialist veterinary anaesthetist, two interns, nine nurses and four animal care assistants. We also have two dedicated receptionists and an insurance administrator, which allows our nurses more time to be nurses. Although we specialise in ophthalmology and see cases referred from all over the country, no previous referral experience is necessary. You just need a desire to learn and to provide the best possible care for our patients, clients and referring practices. Our friendly team will look after you!

We work from a purpose-built practice, based just south of Leominster, situated within its own beautiful orchard. A lovely place to eat lunch, pick some fruit or just enjoy the view. Work-life balance is very important to us, our full-time nurses routinely work a four-day week with a one-in-seven weekend commitment. We would be happy to consider a part time position for the right candidate.

Benefits:

  • Salary from £26,000 p/a
  • 6.7 weeks holiday (inc. bank holidays and birthdays)
  • Private healthcare
  • Cash-plan membership
  • Employee assistance programme
  • 4% employer pension contribution
  • Profit share
  • Generous CPD allowance

For further details, and to send your CV, please contact our nurse manager, Kate Spitzmaul kate@eyevetclinic.co.uk, or Jenny Corrall jenny@eyevetclinic.co.uk
Or why not just call us for an informal chat in the first instance (01568 616616).
