Inpatient Kennel Nurse – South Tyneside


We are looking for a highly motivated full-time inpatient kennel nurse to join our growing team at Bridge Referrals. We offer referral services in soft tissue, orthopaedics, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and oncology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic qualified registered nurse to be part of our high-quality practice environment. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing, providing exceptional care to a mix of medical and surgical inpatients within a varied and dynamic hospital setting.

You will be working a 40-hour week, including some weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rota. Previous referral nursing experience is preferable but we offer full training and support for areas that are unfamiliar.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and adaptable RVN, who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn. They will be motivated to provide excellent service and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will also have good IT skills.

  • VMD responds to Solensia injection concerns
    Blog SpotThe VMD has added anaphylaxis to the SPC of Solensia 7 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Cats.

    It says that this is a rare side effect, with such adverse events affecting fewer than three animals for every 1000 doses of Solensia sold.

    Solensia is used to alleviate osteoarthritis pain in cats. It contains the active ingredient frunevetmab.

    Anaphylaxis joins effects such as alopecia, dermatitis, pruritus on the list of adverse effects.

    The VMD says that is constantly reviewing adverse event data for all medicines.
