At-Home Pet Euthanasia Vet - Various locations

Warm Embrace is an independent, exclusively at-home pet euthanasia service. It takes great pride in its ability to provide pets with a gentle, peaceful, and pain-free end to life, and their families with a calm, private, and unrushed experience. With the increasing preference for home euthanasia, the service is rapidly expanding and offers a unique opportunity for vets.

The service is based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and is looking for vets located in the following areas: Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Winchester and Salisbury.

This position is designed to accommodate a variety of lifestyles. Whether you're working part-time, in an alternative veterinary field, or have family obligations, this role offers a less complicated and less demanding alternative to typical veterinary practice. It's a flexible opportunity that can easily fit into your life.

While the work can be challenging at times, it is also exceptionally rewarding. Warm Embrace provides full training and support as well as an attractive compensation package. No prior experience is necessary.

If this interests you, please contact 07547 168060 to discuss the role and joining the team.

  • Defra shares new Sanitary and Phytosanitary guidance
Blog SpotDefra has published guidance for the vet sector ahead of a proposed UK-EU Sanitary and Phytosanitary agreement.

The agreement, which will change the movement and trade of animals and related products, could see reductions in checks, paperwork and certification. As well as describing regulatory developments, the advice highlights the importance of animal ID, registration and traceability in disease control and other compliance arrangements.

The guidance can be found here. More detail is expected as negotiations progress.
