Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (Flexible hours to suit) — Suffolk

Stowe Veterinary Group, a proudly independent practice in the heart of Suffolk, is looking for an experienced and dedicated veterinary surgeon as it continues to expand. As part of our friendly and supportive team, you’ll get the opportunity to enjoy clinical freedom and prioritise patient care.

For the right applicant, we can be very flexible with the rota, allowing you to fit work around the other parts of your life that matter to you. You can also expect excellent remuneration and CPD packages.

Stowe Veterinary Group is a rapidly growing mixed first opinion and referral practice, made up of three large surgical practices and two smaller local practices. We have a fantastic range of facilities and can offer our clients hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, behaviourists, grooming, and an agility team.

We have been serving our local community for more than 70 years. Our long-established support team and client base will make you feel welcome and help you quickly settle into life in Suffolk.

Please send your CV and a cover letter to Jacqui Garrett. Email: jacqui.garrett@stowevets.co.uk or call 01359 245310.

  • Defra shares new Sanitary and Phytosanitary guidance
Blog SpotDefra has published guidance for the vet sector ahead of a proposed UK-EU Sanitary and Phytosanitary agreement.

The agreement, which will change the movement and trade of animals and related products, could see reductions in checks, paperwork and certification. As well as describing regulatory developments, the advice highlights the importance of animal ID, registration and traceability in disease control and other compliance arrangements.

The guidance can be found here. More detail is expected as negotiations progress.
