Veterinary Surgeon — Rackheath, Norfolk

A thriving two-vet, independent practice near Norwich would like to welcome another veterinary surgeon to its newly-refurbished building.

Rackheath Vets opened 16 months ago, and is located near the flourishing medieval city of Norwich. Its location makes it perfect for access to Norwich's exciting cultural scene, as well as the stunning sights and nature of the Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.

The small animal practice is looking for a vet to play a pivotal role in treating various medical conditions with their state-of-the-art facilities. Using your medical expertise, surgical proficiency and communication skills, you will provide exceptional care to patients and clients.

The ideal candidate will be competent in clinical examination, routine and advanced surgery, imaging, and medical work-ups. You will be confident working independently, but also working in a team.

Our team values being trustworthy, caring and progressive. As a member of our team you will have a desire to develop your workplace skills, whilst sharing your own knowledge and experience with colleagues.

It is a four-day week, with Saturday mornings shared across the team.

This role is suitable for new graduates or more experienced vets. New graduates will be supported through Vet GDP.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £36,000-£60,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 30 days’ annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
  • Five days’ paid CPD
  • Membership paid for RCVS and other professional bodies
