Registered Veterinary Nurse – Northfleet, Kent


An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic RVN to join a dynamic team located in Northfleet, Kent, with great transport links including London by train.

This role is perfect for a hard-working individual looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace, while being given the opportunity for self development. You will need to have good communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Your responsibilities will involve participating in all areas of the practice and nursing consultations. Full training will be provided, but nursing experience is advantageous.

This position involves a 35-40 hour week, including working weekends on a rota basis and a minimum of one bank holiday per year.

  • Full-time salary £27,000- £31,000 dependent on experience
  • Four weeks of annual leave excluding bank holidays
  • NEST pension
  • RVN and VDS fees paid
  • CPD encouraged
  • Discounted veterinary fees.

  • VMG president joins House of Lords
    Blog SpotMiles Russell, president of the Veterinary Management Group (VMG), has been elected to the House of Lords as a crossbench hereditary peer.

    He will join Lord Trees as a representative of the veterinary sector in the second chamber of the UK parliament.

    Lord Russell said: "Those of us working in the animal health and veterinary sectors are only too aware of the importance of the work we do and the challenges we face.

    "I will use my platform in the House of Lords to increase understanding of our sectors and to promote positive change."
