McGettigans Veterinary Surgery – a small and dedicated veterinary practice serving the village of Astwood Bank – is seeking a small animal veterinary surgeon to join its friendly team of three vets. The practice has a excellent team of nurses and receptionists, and boasts a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Located in a beautiful rural area, the practice has large gardens for walking inpatients, and is in a lovely quiet location.
An experienced veterinary surgeon is preferred, but the practice is also happy to accept a new graduates. There will be no sole charge, and the successful candidate will work a 4-and-a-half day working week, with some Saturday morning surgeries. The team enjoy extended lunch breaks every day, with 5 weeks annual holiday. CPD is available on request. Accommodation can be provided, with salary commensurate with experience.
