Free webinar to explore feline infectious peritonitis
Feline medicine specialist Dr Sam Taylor will lead the webinar.
Dr Sam Taylor will discuss how to make a confident diagnosis.

Vets and veterinary nurses are being invited to register for a free webinar exploring feline infectious peritonitis (FIP).

Hosted by HORIBA UK, the webinar will be presented by feline veterinary expert Dr Sam Taylor, who will discuss how to make a confident diagnosis of FIP, the complexities of treatment with anti-vials, monitoring, adverse effects and prognosis.

FIP is a complex, globally-occurring viral disease of cats. Previously the condition was fatal in most cases, but significant developments in recent years have led to better treatments, and now many cats can be cured.

Dr Taylor is a European Specialist in Internal Medicine, and an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Feline Medicine. A graduate of the RVC, she is also a specialist consultant at the International Society of Feline Medicine.

After her presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask Dr Taylor questions specifically on FIP and HORIBA's team of veterinary specialists will be on hand to discuss and advise on any diagnostic testing needs.

Paul Lymer, HORIBA’s veterinary business manager, commented: “We look forward to welcoming Sam to our next webinar as she is highly qualified to provide very useful insight into FIP and its associated complexities. She has published on many areas and is currently working on FIP, having set up and now runs with other feline specialists, the FIP advice line, which has helped over 600 vets use the newly available treatments.”

For more information about the webinar and to register your place, visit the HORIBA UK website.
