VetPartners continues expansion into Spain
VetPartners owns practices across Spain, Switzerland, France, Germany and Italy.
The UK-based group has acquired Alianza Petsalud.

VetPartners has announced the purchase of one of Spain's most respected veterinary groups as part of its continued expansion into the country.

The UK-based veterinary group has acquired Alianza Petsalud, which has 21 small animal practices and the Vetersalud business, which provides services, including training, to independent clinics.

Alianza Petsalud was established by vets in 2004, including CEO and founding partner Jose Antonio Carillo.

The announcement comes six months after VetPartners acquired Praxia, one of Spain's leading veterinary practices, and the Medican Veterinary Center, Madrid.

Managing director and vet Augusto Macías is overseeing VetPartner's operations and expansion into Spain. Based in York, the group also owns practices in Switzerland, France, Germany and Italy.
