Three Dartmoor ponies have been helping teenagers with a range of challenging life issues.

Ground-breaking event helps children living with difficult life issues

Three Dartmoor ponies have helped teenagers with a range of challenging life issues to succeed at one of the UK’s toughest youth challenges.

Organised by the Army, the Ten Tors event sees four hundred teams of six race trek 34, 45 or 55 miles across Dartmoor’s infamously difficult terrain.

The event lasts two days and participants carry all they need to complete the route and camp out safely. A shorter route is available for people who are less able to make the distance.
