Sole Charge Veterinary Surgeons (Full-time) - Hither Green, SE London


Catcuddles Cat Clinics are offering exciting opportunities to veterinary surgeons with a passion for cat care, to take sole charge of each practice.

The existing Cat Clinic is based in Palmers Green (N13), and the new Clinic will be opening soon in Hither Green (SE13). You'll be part of small and agile teams of up to five staff per clinic, allowing for close-knit working relationships and high productivity.

Providing the opportunity to work with rescue cats as well as owned pets, this role is uniquely rewarding. The Clinics are not-for-profit, aiming to help a wide demographic of clients by offering affordable (not free) treatment to as many cats as capacity allows.

  • 40 hour working week, over 4 or 5 working days
  • No requirement for out-of-hours, weekend or bank holiday working
  • Flexible working requests welcomed, and both full or part-time considered
  • Work car available
  • Full-time salary circa £60,000-£65,000 per year depending on experience
  • Holiday entitlement of six weeks, including bank holidays on completion of the first year
  • Private health insurance available on completion of the first year
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid for
  • Generous CPD allowance.

  • Cold-water dip to raise funds for Vetlife
    Blog SpotThe veterinary mental health charity Vetlife is inviting the veterinary community to join it for a sponsored cold-water dip.

    The event will take place at Walpole Bay, Margate, on 17 May during Mental Health Awareness Week. Participants of all abilities can join in the challenge and are advised to bring a towel, a hot drink, a snack, and warm clothes to get changed into afterwards.

    Those taking part are being asked to try to raise £100 each to support the work of the charity.
