Small Animal Vet West Yorkshire

Hird & Partners Veterinary Surgeons is seeking a small animal vet to join its independent small animal hospital located in the heart of Halifax, West Yorkshire. Working alongside a friendly and supportive team of 7 veterinary surgeons, 12 RVNs, 9 animal care assistants and 12 receptionists, the successful candidate can be an experienced veterinary surgeon or a new graduate.

Utilising a shift pattern to ensure a great work/life balance, with OOH and one day of weekend work shared amongst the team. The practice covers its own OOH, to provide continuous care for its patients and for client reassurance.

The practice has an experienced PDP mentor to support new graduates, alongside a generous CPD allowance and full funding for postgraduate certificates. Salary is 32,000 55,000, dependant on experience.

    Taking place at noon on Tuesday, October 19, the webinar will explore the role of veterinary professionals in leading on animal welfare, the leadership competencies required of all veterinary professionals, and the effects of leadership style on teams.
