Full-time or part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Oxfordshire Cotswolds


We are an independent small-animal hospital based in the beautiful Oxfordshire Cotswolds, looking for an experienced and enthusiastic small animal veterinary surgeon. The role is a permanent full-time or part-time position, based at the main Veterinary Hospital on the edge of Chipping Norton, a small market town midway between Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The practice workload is mainly first-opinion, and we also take referrals for radioactive iodine therapy, CT scans, and for some medical and surgical cases.

We also see zoo animals and exotic pets, including referrals. Any experience or interest in these areas is welcome, but not a requirement.
The hospital has excellent equipment available including: an in-house laboratory, radioiodine treatment unit, 64-slice CT, ultrasound, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, video endoscopy, laparoscopy, tonometer.

We are a friendly team consisting of 12 vets, 10 RVNs, six SVNs and three ANAs, with regular visits from a specialist ophthalmologist, a specialist surgeon and an expert dermatologist.

Four-day week, based at the main hospital site in Chipping Norton, with rota of Saturday morning consults and OOH.
